Your data
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Klondike Solitaire processes, why it is used, where it may be stored, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Who operates this site
Klondike Solitaire operates klondike-solitaire.net. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the site.
Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to [email protected].
2. Information processed by the game
You can play without creating an account. The game does not ask for your name, postal address, payment information, or date of birth.
- Game statistics, such as games played, wins, streak, and best time, are stored locally in your browser.
- An unfinished deal is not stored on our servers and normally resets when the page is refreshed.
- If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include in your message.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, device types, approximate region, referral sources, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may process identifiers, cookie data, IP-derived information, and technical information about your browser or device.
We use this information to maintain the site, find technical problems, understand which languages and pages are useful, and improve the game. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other direct identifiers to Google Analytics.
4. Advertising
The site may display advertising, including advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, and report ads.
Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Non-personalised ads can still use cookies or identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.
5. Legal bases and your choices
Where applicable, essential processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Analytics and advertising storage may require your consent. You can decline non-essential storage or change browser settings, although some measurement or advertising features may then be unavailable.
6. Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your directly identifying personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, analytics, advertising, security, or email providers that help operate the site. These providers may process information in countries outside your own and apply their own privacy terms and safeguards.
7. Retention
Local game statistics remain in your browser until you clear site data. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain records, or resolve a dispute. Analytics and advertising retention are controlled by our provider settings and applicable provider policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Because the game does not use accounts, we may be unable to connect anonymous analytics or browser-local statistics to a specific person. We may ask for enough information to verify and process a request without collecting unnecessary data.
9. Children
The site is a general-audience card game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
10. Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the site and the limited information it processes, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
